Aerial image detection
From overhead imagery
to a clearer next step.
Our aerial image detection work helps teams interpret visible property features and prepare useful site assessments before a visit.

The use case
Property and trade teams often start with an address and a broad request. Before they can assess the job, someone needs to inspect the site, identify the relevant features and collect enough context to ask useful questions. Overhead imagery brings some of that work forward.
Our aerial image detection work connects visible property features with early site assessment. Pools, roofs and paved areas provide useful context for a reviewer preparing a property brief or planning a visit.
How the workflow works
The workflow starts with an address or suitable imagery and moves from the overhead view to the feature of interest. A reviewer checks the selection and the available context before it is used in an assessment. Where trustworthy image scale is available, a confirmed outline can support an indicative area estimate.
For a pool removal enquiry, the pool footprint and surrounding paved area help frame the next questions: construction type, access and the intended finish. This gives the team a more focused starting point for a site visit and an estimate.
Understanding the image
The source image, its available capture information and the assumptions behind an assessment matter. Trees, shadows, image resolution and older imagery affect what is visible. An unclear feature calls for another image or a question to the client.
Underground services, structural condition and site access still need confirmation. Image detection supports preparation; the project team brings the on-site judgement needed to take the work forward.
Work done
Aerial image detection is part of our delivered computer vision work, bringing overhead imagery into practical property and trade workflows. Discuss your assessment process with Shadi to see where the same approach can help.
