The use case
A request arrives by email, a document needs to be recorded, or a colleague needs an update. The information may already exist, but someone still has to find the right record, copy the details and work out the next step. Across a busy team, those small tasks become a queue.
Our LEAP system automation work addresses those handovers: collecting relevant information, preparing the update and putting it in front of the right person. The focus is the team's everyday process and the records it relies on.
How the workflow works
Incoming information is organised around the relevant record and the next action. Supporting details, missing fields and follow-up tasks are brought together for review, so the team can see what is ready and what still needs attention.
A document arriving against an active job illustrates the use case: a record update, a short summary and a task for the responsible colleague belong in one workflow. Uncertain matches need review before information is attached to a record.
People stay in control
Automation is most useful when the team can understand its output and correct it. Clear ownership, controlled access and review points keep the workflow connected to the people responsible for the work.
The practical value is in reducing duplicate entry and making handovers easier to follow. Handling time, corrections and staff intervention are useful ways to assess that value without losing sight of accuracy.
